31 October, 2018Deputy Permanent Representative of the United Kingdom to the UN, Jonathan Allen stated that they want to see a comprehensive solution in Cyprus.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’ Cyprus report was discussed for the first time in a closed session at the United Nations Security Council.
Allen, who made a statement to the press before the meeting, stated that he welcomed the Guterres’ Cyprus report and added that they want to see a comprehensive solution in Cyprus.
The Netherlands Permanent Representative to the UN Karel Van Oosterom said that it was disappointing that after the Crans Montana process no steps had been taken towards developing the political process.
