A new book about the Turkish nations has been published in Baku.
The author of the newly-published book “Cyprus of the Turkish World” is the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of “Xalq” newspaper, Honored Culture Worker, academician of the International Academy of Sciences, writer and journalist Afat Sadigoglu.
In his book, the author expresses impressions and travel notes of the visit to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The author highlights the necessity for expanding ties with the country, participating in various holidays as well as socio-political and socio-economic life of Northern Cyprus.
Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Afat Sadigoglu is a scientific editor of the book published in the “Science and Education” publishing house.
The editor of the book is honorable journalist İttifaq Mirzabayli, advisor and author of the introduction is Ufuk Turganer, Baku representative of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
In the chapters “Cyprus Island” and “History of the History”, readers will learn about the author’s journey to North Cyprus and its history.
The book features interviews with the representative of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, including Ufuk Turganer, prorector of the Near East University (NEU),Fakhraddin Mammadov, president of Azerbaijan National Culinary Association Tahir Amiraslanov and others.
“I believe that this book will help to further strengthen the historical, political, economic, cultural, spiritual and literary relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, for the brotherhood and friendship of the Turkic world, the Turkic peoples,” Afat Sadigoglu writes.
