9 January, 2015It has been stated that the Greek Cypriot Foreign Affairs Ministry has been on alert due to the opening of the Representative Office of the TRNC in Hungary. Greek Cypriot daily Simerini stated that Greek Cypriot Foreign Affairs Ministry is on alarm due to the meeting of Hungarian authorities with the TRNC Foreign Affairs Minister Özdil Nami and opening of the TRNC Representative Office with the tolerance of Hungarian government.
TRNC Representative Office has been opened in last October and Minister Özdil Nami also participated in the opening ceremony.
Stating that participation of Hungarian authorities in the opening of the Representative Office was worrisome, the newspaper reminded that Foreign Affairs Minister Özdil Nami met with Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs Ministry of Hungary and other authorities.
