27 April, 2015Second ballot of the TRNC Presidential elections has been realized today and the TRNC people elected Mustafa Akıncı as the President. Voting ended at 18:00.
Census of 678 ballot boxes out of 693 throughout the TRNC has been completed. According to the unofficial results, winner of the second ballot who received 60.38% of the votes has been Mustafa Akıncı.
The other independent candidate Derviş Eroğlu has got 39.62% of votes and the rate of participation in the election has been 64.15%
