9 July, 2015It was stated that Greek environmentalists and Ecologist Movement started an activity against President of the European Commission Jean Claude Juncker and President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz. Greek Cypriot Fileleftheros newspaper reported that General Secretary of Greek Environmentalists and Ecologists Movement Yorgos Perdikis sent a letter to Pan Syndicate Forum and called the public to increase the demonstrations during the visit of President of the European Commission Jean Claude Juncker that will take place between 16th-17th of July. According to the news; Perdikis suggested to the trade unions to hold a protest meeting on the 16th or 17th of July.
