27 July, 2015Polish persons who came to South Cyprus for watching the Jagiellonia-Omonia football match were attacked by the Greek Cypriots according to the news of the Greek Cypriot daily Simerini.
The newspaper noted that in the midnight on Thursday, 25-30 Polish persons first quarreled between each other at the Finikudes beach and afterwards when some of them left the area, the rest were attacked by 30-40 persons thought to be Greek Cypriots.
Stating that two persons were injured during the attack, the newspaper noted that no one was arrested since the Greek Cypriots left the area before the police arrived.
