1 September, 2015CTP leader Mehmet Ali Talat and AKEL Secretary General Andros Kiprianu are going to meet today, on 1 September World Peace Day, at CTP party headquarters. Prior to today’s meeting, the delegations of the two parties met at AKEL headquarters yesterday.
At yesterday’s meeting held under the chairmanship of CTP member Muhittin Özsağlam and AKEL Politburo member Christos Christophides, views were exchanged about what should be done to bring the two sides closer during this peace and resolution process.
The meeting lasted about two-hours. CTP Party Council and Foreign Relations members Aybike Yektaoğlu and Ali Gülle and AKEL party authorities Elias Demetriou and Toumazos Tsielepis were present at the meeting.
