1 September, 2015Various Turkish and Greek Cypriot organizations are jointly organizing events on 1 September World Peace Day.
PEO, DEV-IS, KTAMS, KTOEÖS, KTÖS, BES, TÜRK-SEN unions and the Bi-communal Peace Initiative will be convening at the buffer zone in front of the Home for Cooperation where an event will be held at 19:00. Within the framework of the celebrations, a concert by Turkish composer Zülfü Livaneli and Greek singer Maria Faranduri, who are known for their pro-peace works, will be held on the 18th of September at the Çetinkaya football pitch.
