13 October, 2015The Ministry of Foreign Affairs made a statement and condemned the terrorist attack in the capital city of Turkey, Ankara. The statement is as follows:
“The outrageous attack carried out in the capital of Turkey, Ankara, which caused loss of many lives deeply saddens the Turkish Cypriot People. We share the grief of Turkey and also condemn strongly this outrageous attack which killed innocent people.
Ending of violence, terror and wars in our region and establishing a lasting peace in the region and also in our island have great importance.
We wish that god rest the soul of those who died in this attack. We offer condolences to the Turkish Nation and their families and quick recovery to those who are wounded.”
