25 December, 2015President Mustafa Akıncı and the Greek Cypriot Leader Nicos Anastasiades celebrated the New Year of the Turkish and the Greek Cypriots in a joint televised message.
They read the New Year message in both Turkish and Greek languages after the last leaders meeting held on 20 December.
The Leaders wished: “The New Year will bring lasting peace, serenity and prosperity to all Cypriots.”
