Saner: “Associating the EU’s Turkey report with the Cyprus issue is unacceptable”

UBP Gazimağusa Deputy Hamza Ersan Saner said that Turkey’s report was prepared with the impact of the Greek and Greek Cypriot parliamentarians. Indicating that associating the EU’s Progress Report for Turkey with the Cyprus issue will never be accepted, Saner stated that the convergences with the Turkish Cypriots should be valid not what is written on the report about the issues related to the solution of the Cyprus problem. Stressing that the Greek Cypriot side should accept that the Turkish side is the address of an expected settlement, Saner expressed that Greek Cypriot EU parliamentarians should give up ignoring the joint text signed by their leaders with their Greek counterparts
