22 April, 2016The US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland said that the US is ready to help the parties to reach a settlement on the island.
Speaking to the press following her meeting with President Akıncı, Nuland stated that the United States is eager to help the parties to come to an agreement and added that she observed a good progress on the ongoing negotiations.
Furthermore, Victoria Nuland said that the US is ready to contribute to the economic dimension of a possible settlement on the island.
