Turkey’s decision to abolish visa requirement aroused a great interest in South Cyprus

5 May, 2016The decision on the abolition of the visa requirement for all European Union citizens was published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Turkey.
According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, the decision will come into force as soon as the European Union removes the Schengen area visa requirement for all Turkish citizens.
The mentioned decision was taken within the framework of the implementation of 72 criteria that were agreed between Turkey and the EU.
