21 June, 2016President Mustafa Akıncı and the leader of the Greek Cypriot Administration, Nikos Anastasiades, will meet again today as part of the intensified negotiations process.
The meeting will be held at the Ledra Palace, a building which has been designated by the UN to host the negotiations, and which is located in the buffer zone.
In his statement following the last leaders meeting on Friday, President Akıncı has said that agreement is close on the issue of federal competences, and it is believed that the issue can be finalized at today’s meeting.
Subsequent leaders meetings will be held on June 23 and July 1.
