28 October, 2016President Mustafa Akıncı has confirmed that the two Cypriot Leaders will hold a series of meetings in Switzerland over 5 days between 7 – 11 November.
According to President Akıncı, the meetings are of vital importance, and are part of the penultimate phase of the negotiations for a solution on Cyprus.
A positive outcome in Switzerland will lead to the five-party meeting which will be held shortly afterwards, Akıncı said.
“We will discuss all the chapters including territory. As long as we have political will and determination, it will be possible to make more progress”.
President Akıncı stressed that Switzerland could be a turning point in the Leaders’ efforts to reach a settlement before the end of 2016.
