28 October, 2016President Mustafa Akıncı’s wife, Meral Akıncı, and Greek Cypriot Leader Nikos Anastasiades’ wife, Andri Anastasiades, met yesterday.
The leaders’ wives met in the buffer zone at the official residence of the new UN Secretary-General`s Special Representative and Head of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) Elizabeth Spehar, upon her invitation.
During the meeting, it was discussed how the wives of the leaders can contribute to the solution process.
