4 January, 2017Prime Minister Hüseyin Özgürgün met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his Turkish counterpart Binali Yıldırım in Ankara yesterday.
Özgürgün said that they were very pleased to have had the meeting where they evaluated the key points in the Cyprus talks and that he was happy to “have confirmed Turkey’s support for us once again”.
Özgürgün discussed his official visit to Ankara with BRT Channel and said that he discussed the key points in the Cyprus talks and other internal issues with President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Yıldırım, as well as what measures and steps will be taken in the TRNC.
