31 March, 2017Hakan Açıl and Pınar Barut, Academics from the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Tourism Faculty, were invited to take part in the All Cooks Federation of Turkey National Team for the Hong Kong International Culinary Classic (HKICC) competition.
The invitation was made by the Cooks and Chefs Federation of Turkey (COCFED).
Dean of EMU Tourism Faculty Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç stated that the All Cooks Federation of Turkey National Team will compete in the Hong Kong International Culinary Classic (HKICC) to be held under HOFEX 2017 in Hong Kong between 8 – 11 May and expressed his pleasure that there will be 2 expert chefs from EMU in the team.
