13 July, 2017TRNC Minister of Labour and Social Security Hamza Ersan Saner held bilateral meetings with Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Dr. Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen and representatives of the member states, within the framework of his visit to the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire yesterday.
During his meeting with the Secretary General of the OIC, Saner briefed him about the recent developments in Cyprus and he expressed his belief that the OIC would further increase its support to the Turkish Cypriot people.
In his speech during the 44th Council of Foreign Ministers conference in Abidjan, Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, Saner called for IIT member states to show solidarity with the Turkish Cypriot people and to take concrete steps to stop the isolation imposed on them.
