21 July, 2017The Ledra Palace and Lokmacı crossing points in Lefkosa were temporarily closed by the Greek Cypriot Police on Thursday due to protests by the far-right Greek Cypriot National People’s Front (ELAM) in the South Cyprus. The UN also took precautions on both sides of the crossings.
Members of ELAM came to the crossing points carrying Greek flags, singing the Greek national anthem and shouting: “Turks out.”
