8 August, 2017Prime Minister Hüseyin Özgürgün has stated that the TRNC will never forget those who fought for their freedom and to establish a state on this land. He said that the Turkish Cypriot people have asserted once more that they are committed to protecting their sacred homeland and the glorification of their republic.
In his message on the 53rd Anniversary of Erenköy Resistance, Prime Minister Hüseyin Özgürgün said: “They sacrificed their own lives for the sake of their homeland so that the Turkish Cypriot people could live in freedom. I remember them with respect and mercy.”
