17 January, 2018President of the Turkish Grand National Assembly İsmail Kahraman has said that it is the responsibility of all Muslims to contribute to a fair and permanent solution in Cyprus.
Speaking at the Parliamentary Union of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation in Tehran, Kahraman said that he hoped that the conference will contribute positively towards solving many of the problems in the Islamic world. Kahraman stressed the importance on calling on Muslim communities in breaking the unfair isolations imposed on the Turkish Cypriots for years.
