21 May, 2018President Mustafa Akıncı will be flying to İstanbul today in order to attend the extraordinary summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. According to the information given by the Presidency, President Akıncı will leave the TRNC at 16.15 and will hold a press conference at the Ercan Airport before his departure.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kudret Özersay also travelled to İstanbul this morning to attend the extraordinary summit of the OIC.
Flying to İstanbul upon the invitation of the term president of the OIC, Republic of Turkey Özersay attended the Preliminary Meeting of the OIC Foreign Ministers. Afterward, Özersay will accompany President Mustafa Akıncı at the Summit that will be held at 18.30 today.
