16 August, 2018Pointing out that the conditions to be agreed by the two sides on the use of the natural resources of the island should be established, the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Binali Yıldırım said that any attempt made by unilateral decisions ignoring the sovereignty rights of the TRNC would not be tolerated and accepted.
Yıldırım and his accompanying parliamentary delegation also met with Prime Minister Tufan Erhürman.
In his speech at the meeting, Erhürman said that at this time events were to the Greek Cypriot Administration’s advantage, yet attempts should continue in this regard to change their stance as soon as possible.
