8 October, 2018Members of the Committee on Missing Persons participated in the conference in Kiev, Ukraine on 4th and 5th October 2018, as experts on missing persons.
Turkish Cypriot member Gülden Plümer Küçük, Greek Cypriot member Nestoras Nestoros, and the United Nations representative Paul-Henri Arni delivered speeches at the conference entitled “Integral Approach to Identifying the Fate of Missing Persons and Supporting their Families”.
The conference, which was organized by the International Committee of the Red Cross, was attended by officials from the committees of missing persons in Sri Lanka, Colombia, Georgia, Northern Ireland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iraq, Peru, Nigeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Cyprus.
