Considering the possibility of accelerating the process, they have the intention to meet more often, and Erhürman and Kyprianu expressed that they had decided to organise activities on either side of the island.
In his statement, Erhürman stressed that the next most important task is to start with a well-prepared, result-oriented process which is not open ended as the UN Secretary-General Guterres had stated in his latest report, and added that he did not think that the suggestion of a loose federation, that Anastasiades brought up recently, is in opposition to Guterres’ desire.
