14 November, 2018President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a statement regarding the drilling activities and said that the ‘Exxon’ company seems to have an attitude such as : ‘Do not enter into that zone but do whatever you want outside of that zone’.
Erdoğan added: “There are two drilling vessels and two seismic vessels. One of these vessels will explore in the Eastern Mediterranean and the other one in the Black Sea. Seismic vessels are already working. We will continue our way decisively. We express our view to our friends. Mutual trust can be established in this way”.
