28 November, 2018Turkish President and AK Party Leader Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that the reckless actions of both the Greek Cypriot Administration and Greece in the Eastern Mediterranean have become a source of danger and threat, primarily to themselves.
Speaking at the ruling Justice and Development Party’s (AK Party) parliamentary group meeting, Erdoğan gave a stern warning to those countries which were making use of the domestic troubles of countries in the region to expand their own economic and political aspirations and added that Turkey will not allow them the opportunity.
Erdoğan said that attempts to cripple Turkey’s position both in the Aegean and Cyprus were all in vain.
“We are determined to exercise our rights stemming from international law and practices to the very end and to give those who try to prevent us from doing so the correct lesson” he added.
