29 November, 2018In a statement released after Turkey’s National Security Council (NSC) meeting, it has been said that “No development will be allowed to violate the rights and interests of Turkey and the TRNC”
The statement recorded that Turkey’s rights and interests in the Aegean Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean were evaluated within the framework of recent developments, and continued as: “The unilateral initiatives in the region towards violating the international law and confrontation ventures will not contribute to world peace. On the other hand our determination based on the compliance with international law and the will of the Parliament should be taken into account. It is confirmed that no development will be allowed to violate the rights and interests of Turkey and the TRNC.”
