8 February, 2019President Mustafa Akıncı stated that the parties will be in contact to arrange a meeting with the Greek Cypriot Administration Leader Nikos Anastasiades to be hosted by Spehar by the end of February.
According to the statement made by the Presidency, Anastasiades spoke with President Mustafa Akıncı by telephone yesterday (6th February) and conveyed his wish to meet.
Akıncı had earlier expressed the view that it would be useful to meet with the Greek Cypriot Leader to evaluate the issues at hand.
The last meeting of the two leaders was on October 26, 2018.
