22 March, 2019Former Prime Minister Osman Örek will be commemorated on the 20th anniversary of his death.
The ceremony will take place on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 11:00 at Lefkoşa State Cemetery.
Wreaths will be laid by President Akıncı and the late Prime Minister Osman Örek’s family and a minute’s silence will be observed and flags will be raised with the National Anthem. Örek’s daughter Yeşim Örek and President Mustafa Akıncı will also give a speech at the ceremony.
