26 July, 2019Taşpınar Martyrs were commemorated with a ceremony held at Taşpınar Martyrs Cemetery.
The commemoration ceremony commenced with laying flowers on the graves of the martyrs which was followed by a minute’s silence, gun salute, singing of the national anthem and raising of the flags. The Martyrs Memorial Book was signed. Poems were read in the memory of the day. The Mukhtar of the village İzzet Erçağıl and Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Zorlu Töre delivered a speech and a Religious Official said prayers for the martyrs.
