26 September, 2019President Mustafa Akıncı met with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini.
Akıncı briefed Mogherini on the development of the terms of reference on the Cyprus issue. Stressing the constructive works of the Turkish Cypriot side on the terms of reference, Akıncı also gave information about the difficulties that the Greek Cypriot side has created in terms of effective participation and political equality.
