Turkish President Erdoğan: “Those who trivialise Turkey in the Eastern Mediterranean, have started to approach the table of diplomacy”

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated those who trivialise Turkey in the Eastern Mediterranean and persistently urge their thesis and the map, have started to approach the table of diplomacy.

In his statement following the Presidential Cabinet meeting, Erdoğan said that Turkey continues their drilling activities in the Mediterranean and the Black Sea without interruption.

Expressing that those who turn their backs on historical facts, international agreements, customs and visible truths for the sake of protecting the interests of a few countries in the Cyprus and Eastern Mediterranean issue, have nothing to say to the world, Erdoğan made the following assessment:

“I once again underline and repeat that we do not usurp anybody’s rights and dignity in Cyprus, the Mediterranean, the Aegean, or anywhere. We only want to be respected for our rights, our law and our achievements. We invite the people of these countries to learn the facts and to adopt an attitude accordingly.”
