13 November, 2020The 15th November Republic Day program will begin with President Ersin Tatar’s speech on BRT Television and a 21 gun salute on Saturday,14th November at 12.00.
A ceremony programme will start at the Dr. Fazıl KüçükMonument Tomb on 14th November at 15.00 and, due to construction work on the Rauf Raif DenktaşMausoleum, the TMT Monument will be visited at 15.30. The wreaths will be laid and the ceremonies will be continued with a minute of silence, the National Anthem and signing of the memorial book. Within the measures for Covid-19 pandemic, which was announced as a ‘Dangerous Pandemic’ by the TRNC Council of Ministers, social distance and wearing masks will be obligatory during the ceremonies.
On the 15th of November celebrations will start at 12.00 in front of the Lefkoşa Atatürk Monument and at 12.30 a military parade will take place at the Dr. Fazıl KüçükBoulevard.
