8 February, 2022Prime Minister and Chairman of the UBP Dr. Faiz Sucuoğlu presented the resignation of the UBP-DP coalition government established on 5th November 2021 to the President Ersin Tatar in an online meeting following the swearing-in ceremony of the deputies.
Sucuoğlu made a press statement at the TRNC Presidency after he presented the resignation and stated that the President handed over the letter containing the continuation of his office and the Council of Ministers until the new government is formed.
