10 February, 202250 deputies elected to the TRNC Assembly in the early general elections held on 23rd January 2022 were sworn in and officially took office yesterday (7th February 2022).
President Ersin Tatar, who is currently isolating himself after contracting Covid-19, was unable to attend the ceremony as is customary.
