Minister of Health Dinçyürek meets with his counterpart Koca

Minister of Health Dr. Hakan Dinçyürek who was in İstanbul to participate at the 9th Turkish Medical World Congress met with Turkish Minister of Health Dr. Fahrettin Koca. According to the information given by the Ministry of Health, during the meeting references have been made to the agreements and action plans signed between two countries and mutual evaluations have been made on the basis of projects. A consensus has been reached regarding carrying out the common projects forward.

Stating that he is deeply pleased that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Ministry of Health was taking part in the 9th Turkish Medical World Congress, he wished a good term for his duty of ministry to Minister Dinçyürek.  Minister Koca who said that they are in the 100th year of the Republic of Türkiye emphasized that they will always continue to collaborate with the TRNC. Minister Dinçyürek has pointed out to the importance of the health action plan spanning over the next two years and added that they will always be in dialogue.

Expressing that he was most honoured to participate at the congress organized under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Türkiye and Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health as the host; Minister Dinçyürek thanked Minister Koca for his invitation.

Dinçyürek stated that this congress offered the chance to meet the Ministers of Health of other countries which were participating. He has also mentioned the contributions of Motherland Türkiye to TRNC for it to come its current state.

At the end of the meeting, an action plan for collaboration during the years of 2023-2025 has been signed between Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health and TRNC Ministry of Health.

Minister of Health Dinçyürek has also met Azerbaijan Minister of Health Teymur Musayev, Kosovo Minister of Health Dr. Arben Vitia, Khirgizistan Minister of Health Beishenaliev Alymkadyr, Georgia Minister of Health Zürafa Azarashvili, Somali Minister of Health Ali Haji Adam Abubakar, and Gambia Minister of Health Ahmadou Lamin Samateh who were participating at the congress. He noted that they exchanged opinions regarding the collaboration that can be carried out in the field of health.
