25 March, 2024The delegation of the TRNC Assembly, which is in Geneva, Switzerland for the Inter-Parliamentary Union General Assembly Meeting (IPU), held a meeting with the Pakistani delegation headed by Pakistan’s Minister of Commerce Syed Naveed Qamar.
According to the information released by the TRNC Assembly, the delegation headed by the National Unity Party Secretary General MP Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu included the Republican Turkish Party Secretary General MP Asım Akansoy and the Democrat Party Secretary General MP Serhat Akpınar.
The TRNC delegation was accompanied by the TRNC Representative to Geneva, Kemal Köprülü.
During the meeting, the possible cooperation activities between the two countries in education and other fields, especially trade and tourism, were discussed.
