25 November, 2024President Ersin Tatar met with officials of the Polish Chamber of Tourism in Warsaw.
Within the framework of his contacts, President Ersin Tatar met with the President of the Polish Chamber of Tourism, Pawel Niewiadomski and the Secretary General of the Chamber, Pawel Radolinski.
According to the information by the TRNC Presidency, President Tatar stated that tourism brings together different cultures and people, noting that the TRNC is located in the Eastern Mediterranean with a mild climate, rich cultural heritage and historical sites.
“Tourism should not be confused with politics,” said President Tatar, “We would like to see more Polish travel agents and tour operators in the TRNC, which has many places to visit.”
President Tatar explained that Polish tourists can travel to the TRNC with a short transfer via Türkiye and added that there are around 50 flights a day to the TRNC from Turkish cities such as İstanbul, Ankara, Antalya, İzmir and Adana.
