The First Summit of Turkic Women Parliamentarians of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TÜRKPA) held at the Conference Hall of the Republic Assembly entitled “Education, Culture, and Entrepreneurship,” organized under the Presidency of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and within the framework of the TÜRKPA 2025 Activity Plan yesterday in Lefkoşa, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
The summit brought together participants from Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Moldova, Uzbekistan and Türkiye.
A joint press conference was held following the summits, where participants exchanged views on the role of women in society and expectations for the future.
