Minister of Foreign Affairs Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu received a delegation led by Dr. Saidou Dogon Guida, Chair of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission (IPHRC) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
According to a statement issued by the TRNC Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ertuğruloğlu expressed his gratitude at hosting the delegation, which is in the TRNC to attend an international conference held at Eastern Mediterranean University.
During the meeting, he briefed the delegation on the TRNC’s vision for a two-state solution based on sovereign equality regarding the Cyprus issue and underscored the importance of support from Islamic countries.
The meeting, which was also attended by IPHRC Vice-Chair Dr. Hacı Ali Açıkgül, featured an exchange of views on strengthening mutual relations.
