Martyr Allahverdi Kılıç commemorated on 30th anniversary of his death

Martyr Private Allahverdi Kılıç, who was killed by Greek Cypriot soldiers while carrying out his military service in 1996, has been commemorated on the 30th anniversary of his death.

The ceremony, which was held in Güvercinlik village, began with the laying of wreaths, followed by a minute’s silence and the Turkish national anthem. President of the Association of Martyrs’ Families and War Veterans Gürsel Benan paid tribute to Kılıç, emphasizing that he had sacrificed his life defending his homeland.
