Contacted voters who have been in contact with a Covid-19 positive person will also be able to vote in the early parliamentary elections to be held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on 23rd January 2022 Sunday.

Drawing attention to the final decision of the Communicable Diseases Supreme Committee, the Chairman of the Supreme Board of Elections Narin Ferdi Şefik emphasized that since the isolation application has been lifted, contacted people can also vote, however a Covid-19 positive person will be prohibited to come to the polling place.
