Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kudret Özersay visited Wayne’s Keep Cemetery which is within the territory of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Signing the memorial book at the cemetery, Minister Özersay made examinations and gained information at the cemetery where there are graves of 215 persons including 11 Turkish Cypriots who lost their lives during World War II.

The members of the “The British Residents’ Society” living in the TRNC also show great interest in the ceremony of “Remembrance Day” organised each year in November for those who lost their lives while performing their duty in the British army during the first and second World Wars.
