It stipulates that a single repayment of $2.754 billion be made on\u00a0July 1, 2016. The loan&#8217;s annual interest rate was calculated at\u00a04.5 percent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0A protocol that included a reduction of\u00a0the annual interest rate to\u00a02.5 percent was signed in\u00a0August 2013, after\u00a0the Greek Cypriot government asked for\u00a0a restructuring of\u00a0the debt over\u00a0the deterioration of\u00a0the financial situation in\u00a0the country. The document also delayed the repayment of\u00a0the debt until\u00a0the period between\u00a02018 and 2021.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In February, Putin and leader of Greek Cypriot administration Nicos Anastasiades met in\u00a0Moscow to\u00a0discuss bilateral relations and key international issues.
