{"id":138215,"date":"2015-03-13T11:27:24","date_gmt":"2015-03-13T09:27:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/parliamentary-committee-held-talks-in-ep\/"},"modified":"2015-03-13T11:27:24","modified_gmt":"2015-03-13T09:27:24","slug":"parliamentary-committee-held-talks-in-ep","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/parliamentary-committee-held-talks-in-ep\/","title":{"rendered":"Parliamentary committee held talks in EP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The committee of Parliament consisting of CTP-BG deputy Arma\u011fan Candan, UBP Deputy Ersan Saner and DP-UG deputy Mente\u015f G\u00fcnd\u00fcz held talks at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The committee held talks at EP with Social Democrat Group, Centre- right Group, Liberal Democrat Group, Greens and the Conservative Group.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">TRNC parliamentary committee informed their counterparts about \u2018the need of a positive conclusion in the Cyprus negotiation process based on the UN parameters without delay and the final phase of natural gas and hydrocarbon explorations in Eastern Mediterranean\u2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The committee also discussed sensitivities about Cyprus paragraph of Turkey report currently being discussed in the EP, importance of Hellim on the Turkish Cypriot Economy, taking forward the Direct Trade Regulation that is waiting on the agenda of EP, and the importance of \u00a0the continuation of the works of Committee on Missing Persons without being politicized are stressed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The committee also informed counterparts about EU harmonization works in the TRNC, and recorded that Turkey Report of EP that also includes a paragraph on Cyprus will be discussed in the coming weeks and will be presented to the EP General Assembly, in the report a call was made to the leaders to start comprehensive solution negotiations as soon as possible in order to conclude the process in Cyprus with an agreement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The committee met with Turkey\u2019s Permanent Representative at the Council of Europe Ambassador Erdo\u011fan \u0130\u015fcan on the last day of their contacts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The committee of Parliament consisting of CTP-BG deputy Arma\u011fan Candan, UBP Deputy Ersan Saner and DP-UG<span class=\"excerpt-hellip\"> [\u2026]<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":9,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[27],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-138215","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-headlines"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/138215","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/9"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=138215"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/138215\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=138215"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=138215"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=138215"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
