{"id":138418,"date":"2015-05-11T11:51:39","date_gmt":"2015-05-11T08:51:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/ban-thanked-to-eroglu-for-perfect-co-operation\/"},"modified":"2015-05-11T11:51:39","modified_gmt":"2015-05-11T08:51:39","slug":"ban-thanked-to-eroglu-for-perfect-co-operation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pio.mfa.gov.ct.tr\/en\/ban-thanked-to-eroglu-for-perfect-co-operation\/","title":{"rendered":"Ban thanked to Ero\u011flu for \u201cperfect\u201d co-operation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon sent a letter to the third President of the TRNC Dervi\u015f Ero\u011flu and thanked him for \u201cperfect\u201d co-operation within the period of his duty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In his letter he emphasized that, the joint statement put forward by Ero\u011flu and the leader of Greek Cypriot Administration Nikos Anastasiadis in February, 2014 was an invaluable background in terms of the continuation of negotiations. Ban stated in his letter: \u201cMr.Dervi\u015f Ero\u011flu, I appreciate your perfect co-operation within the period of your duty and on the other hand I appreciate your eagerness in order to find a comprehensive settlement on the Cyprus issue and also I appreciate your sincerity at the leaders\u2019 summit meetings in Geneva and Green-tree in 2011 and 2012.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He concluded his letter \u201ceven if you couldn\u2019t reach a settlement on the Cyprus issue within the period of your duty, we have always been committed to this critical aim as the UN and we supported both of the communities at the resolution efforts in the Cyprus problem.
