President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan said \u201cI have to say this clear, we will never leave our rights we gained from being a guarantor country\u201d.\u00a0President, Erdo\u011fan answered questions about the agenda during a live broadcast on NTV. On expression of \u201cAn air is blowing on dropping down guarantor states and putting EU in to a guarantor position\u201d regarding Cyprus Problem, Erdo\u011fan said: \u201cIt\u2019s not a fair approach, it\u2019s impossible to accept this because first EU failed on its own mission. How are we going to trust its justice? There is no such a right. Here 3 countries have the right to be guarantors, England, Greece and Turkey. EU doesn\u2019t have such a right and has not given some financial rights to North Cyprus.\u00a0For example, we attended meetings in Switzerland. Verheugen has attended those meetings on behalf of EU but at the end of the meetings, EU did not give the necessary support. South Cyprus was accepted into the EU although they voted \u201cno\u201d for the Annan plan but North Cyprus was not accepted into the EU although their \u201cyes\u201d votes for the Annan plan.
