President Ak\u0131nc\u0131 and Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Anastasiadis watched \u201cRumca k\u00fcst\u00fcm, T\u00fcrk\u00e7e K\u0131r\u0131ld\u0131m\u201d theatre play of Lefko\u015fa Municipality Theatre in Limassol.<\/p>\n
Leaders attended the play with their wifes. Both people and press showed great interest for the event. Ak\u0131nc\u0131 and Anastasiades made statements at the end of the theatre play.<\/p>\n
In his speech President Ak\u0131nc\u0131 said \u201cHere we watched a play with my friend Nikos which gave us a powerful message. The message was \u2018no one is faultless and innocent\u2019. Both societies made mistake in the past. The goal is to learn from past mistakes and to give a better future to younger generation.\u201d<\/p>\n
As an answer to a question, Ak\u0131nc\u0131 said that he has been to Limassol many times and added \u201cNow is my friends turn to pay a visit, and of course we will come again. There will be more dialogue and we will communicate much more and freely. For this we will have to work more.\u201d<\/p>\n
Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Anastasiadis said in his speech \u201cWe saw a strong message. We have to work very hard to find peace. I will ask the Minister of Education to show this play at all schools around the island. The message is very powerful.\u00a0We should give a chance to young generation to live in peace and prosperity.\u201d<\/p>\n
As an answer to a question \u201cWill you visit the North?\u201dAnastasiadis said \u201cIt\u2019s among my plans to go to other side.
